About Me
Hi I'm Brenn!
You can find me outside climbing with my (soon to be!) wife, reading on my Kindle, or out with my cardiac service dog, Sucia. I’m also a data scientist and software engineer. In short, I care about how people interact with technology, especially when it’s meant to help someone learn something, get clarity, or make a decision. I’m drawn to data visualization because it’s where design meets storytelling. A good dashboard turns meaningly numbers into something that feels real & approachable. (See the pizza review dashboard on my Projects page. Anyone who knows me can confirm I will make a dashboard for anything and everything.) As a disabled developer, I’m especially invested in designing adaptive tech and accessible systems. Design choices reflect values. If inclusion isn’t intentional, exclusion becomes default. Being a former debate kid, I’m also passionate about trust and safety in machine learning. Not just what models can do, but who they fail to serve. I want the things I build to feel intuitive, human, and made for more than just the “default” user.
